Went to university ! Saw classmates and teachers again, they are doing very well! Marie passed her thankful to me, because I had asked my friend to put nearly £85 to one Shanghai fabric company buying baboo fabrics for her, she will receive the fabrics on this Thursday, but she is anxious about making garment timetable, so she wants to ask for extention for the presentation(presentation will be next Monday). Hopefully she can manage everthing!I am very happy that I can help designers sorting out problems which are from China side .

Went into Claudia's office talking to her, she said she was very interested in what I am doing, what I have done is very different from others, so she hoped I could present the whole process about my "product develepment with China manufactory". Actually my work is a team work but I can manage it by myself at the moment. As a Chinese I am very proud I can use Chinese language doing my works.

Charles arranged 4 designers who come from "Rab"(outdoor company) did presentation for us. Two of them graduated from our course many years ago. I really enjoyed what they talked about,very simple very helpful. Experience are the most important knowledges!!!!!After I told them what I am doing, the manager(forgot the name) came to talk to me, he said he was quite suprised about what I am doing and he hoped I could find placment job as I want in UK.

Everybody worries about "presentation", Charles is trying his best let us find good way doing this, he knows our situation and emphasize that we should have good rest before "black Monday".

Received sample clothing from Hangzhou Company, quite happy about something, but not satisfied at some technique things, need to send e-mail asking them. After all, these are my first sampling. As a designer, I am very extited about my "product delepment".

Susan told me she would try to send me sample clothing on the China time before 9pm, I am not so sure about this, will ask her tomorrow.

Mrs Ren emailed me she had post sample to me today from Baotou, she told me I would receive it on 27th.

Hopefull I can receive everything by this weekend, and then I need to do tranfer print, take pictures---

Thinking about my customers all night

My customers profiles, their sports behaviours, playing environment& requirements, what do they expect from clothing, their ages, colours, fabrics, marketing strategy, how can let them buy my clothing---

Searching goggle to understand spring &summer weather in UK( my clothing designed for spring &summer), but I can’t find spring temperature(don’t know why), the summer temperature is around 30°c.

About Michelle Wie, the more I researched her the more I liked her. Sometimes there is no reasons to like somebody; actually there must be some reasons in the mind. I like her Asian face, very tall, very young, very sportive, very sexy, innocent and lively, she is a pretty and clever girl, hope she could achieve more and more in the golf course.
Feel needed sweet today and then ate too much sweat so that can’t eat anything at dinner time, suddenly think of my classmate Marie’s (who comes from Sweden) words, “Jing, I don’t want works any more, I need love------”, so I am also under high pressure and I need sweet.

As a designer has to face computer all day sometimes all night, how can I keep skin fresh? Don’t want to be old so quick; there are so many to do-----and so much to say------.

Today another company HangZhou Qianling Golf Company sent me pictures. They have already done my samples. They sent the t-shirt's picture to me and explained to me bacause time was very limited so the sample is not so perfect, they even did't change the collar and cuff's fabric, still used jacket cuff fabric, my God!

I am quite happy their garment making telenology. But they changed some kind of my design ideas.

They have sent my samples including one lady's jacket, one man's jacket and the t-shirt to me today. I opened a specially TNT account for the company. They can use the account post to me their samples,fabrics. I can pay the fee in England after I received the post.

The lady who is contacting me in this company name Linyun, I found I started to like her. If you wanted to be liked by sombody you should liked sombody at the first, how do you think?

The pictures fabric made from me and the garments designed by me!

Susan sent the picture to me which are the nitting t-shirts made from one factory in NanTong. It hasn't finished completely havn't done embroidery. They are looked ok. I am quite happy about this.

Sunday---Nobody Talk To Me

Today is Sunday, I should go to church, because of laziness so I didn’t. There are loads to do: tidying computer data, illustrator my collection again, prepares presentation etc.

Want to go to university next Monday, I’d like invite my classmate Rock Son having lunch and talking to her, her boyfriend said goodbye to her a few weeks ago, they had been being in love for 7years, she is very poor now! She made a black and big Tattoo on her hand so as to forget this. Last time when I talked to her, she still s very sad just said I really miss him----..I can understand her. Lady’s heart is made from cake, but men’s heart is made from iron and steel.

Today is Sunday, nobody talk to me! Wish everybody is happy on this Sunday!

The Latest News In Last Week



Susan Su told me the factory had found available orange fabric for my garment's piping and she send me picture. Please see the picture! But I couldn't blog this picture, don't know why.

I let Susan Su try to send me pictures about every trim and I can check those trim suit my garments or not.

Today is Saturday is my buiest day!

working all night with China side

China factory starts to work at 8:30am which is 1:30am in England.

So these days I have to be working all night with China factory to check garments making things. Sometimes I go to sleep at 6am.

So my sleeping follows sunshire. Hard work lets me have achievements. He He------

I haven't seen my classmates and my teachers for a few days, really miss them!

Today Susan sent me prodution forms including t-shirt, trousers, jacket and polo t-shirt to me. I emended some details with her. This was the final forms before factory making sample clothing.

We used MSN to have chat but we can't use it sent attached file. I have found GMAIL is the best way for sending big file pictures.

Making garments are not easy job. Because we have to be very very carefully for the evry details. We just let ourself understand everything is not enough have to let others know every design details as well.

I have learned a lot within theses days.

Jane Eyre

There is a great novel << Jane Eyre>> recommended by my teacher when I was a teenage. I really liked it after I had read.

I have been watching << Jane Eyre>> TV series for 3 weeks. It is such a fantansitic series. It is loyal to the original novel,the actor and actress are fabulous. I was so moved by the plot of a play.

The view in the story is really beautifull, the shoot a scene on location is around Derby countryside which is the town I am living.

I like Jane Eyre she is so brave, passionable and wisely.

1.original fabric colour ( a little bit yellow and white)
2. bought DYLON which is dark green, read introduction carefully
3.put into the machine with a cup of salt,60 degree washing temperature, takes 2 hours. then use 90 degree washing temperature wash 1 hour.
4. put into the dry machine( very big one)
5.it is dry and the colour is dark green( not very dark, i like it)
6.iron it

MEETINT WITH CLAUDIA

After I finished some illustrator this morning I made my decision to see Claudia. I got to Jackson Mill around 2PM, fortunately Claudia was in her office alone when I saw her. It didn’t take me any time waiting for her, very happy about this.

Claudia disagreed me using high visible fabric for the piping, she also concerned my collection colours and she suggest me using one bright colour for the piping.

Following these suggestions I got some ideas in my head, I was quite released because I don’t need to make so many garments for my subject, I think 5 is ok, although I had made so many fabrics by myself, probably the fabrics will be used in the future for myself.

I post all of my fabrics to China manufactory yesterday, the factories in China are on national holiday, so it should be delivered in their hand on 8th October.

I have spoken to Mr Zhao Jian Zhong who is general manager in Baotou Evershine Kashmirland Industrial Company Ltd. He would like cooperate with me and he will make sample for me after I email my design illustrator to him. I will talk to his sales staff next week regarding market their product in UK market. I am really interested in using their yarn to make golf wear.

I need to send my final design illustrator to Susan tomorrow..

Went to GYM at 8pm.

国庆,中秋及外婆

今天本来是我要在慕尼黑参加欧洲高耳夫展的日子,可惜我的签证没有和德国在英国的大使馆预约上,时间太迟了,很郁闷没有去成.上网查了展览的资料,没有得到太多的信息.

今天是国内国庆节的日子,我已经有3年没有在国内过国庆节了,可以想象国内到处人山人海的场景,我已经久违了热闹场景, 不知以后回国会不会习惯.

这几天最大的消息末过于来自国内的上海市市长被"双轨"的信息,听说他还包养情妇,好象还有好几位,如果是真的那就太蠢了!!! "包养"---很没有品位哦.如果是真的,那他也应该有这样一天."红颜祸水"的古训又一次被验证.但是我是不相信"表面"新闻的人.

我始终相信对家庭有责任感的男人才能肩负起会对社会的责任感!!人很弱啊! 不是自己可以控制自己的!

我的很好的朋友,没有回我的邮件. 不会陪陈良宇一起"双规"吧,呵呵-----.友谊源于沟通,沟通后才会有默契------------.

有朋友给我邮件,祝我中秋节快乐,中秋节? 又一个没有中秋节的中秋节又到了.

Making fabric & Munich

I still can't find accommodation in Munich, the hotle that I have looked were all booked out. There is a the biggest bear festvial in Munich as the same time as European Golf Exhibition. What should I do? God please help me! I really want to attend the exhibition, I got so much to do, I really want to launch my golf collection before Novermber!

I having been making fabrics for 3 days now! The machine always stopped when I was making fabrics in the university, because I put5% Lycre, 45% Polyesler, 50%TENCEL in the machine. This is the first time the machine use this kind of yarn.The fabric pattern is good but I need to use machine transfering colour to it otherwise it is too pale. So I need to order transfer paper in advance. My plan is finishing all of fabrics making things within next week(18-22).

I havn't got a piece of fabric in my hand. I got so much to do. I am panicing but it is happy panicing.

I walked across a plain

And gentle dancing rain

I have been makeing fabric for 2 days now. It is so difficult to me but it is so interesting. I still have loads work to do with it. John always be there helping me when I have problems in making fabrics, so I am not alone.

My classmate Oliver trys to treat me as an English lady, he explain many things to me, unfortunately his English is too elegant to let me understand.

There is a lady whose name is Jade responsible for printing in Jacksonmill,today her "charming behaviour" let me cry. John let me go to her room to check colour, and the "tranfer colour" hang on the wall, it is be written:" can't move", so I just stay in her room checking fabric coulur. When she saw me, she was extremly angry she used her all strength closing the door and shouting to me. Her face was so red, her eyes was so big, she scared me, really.

A stuff in the university is so vulgar. No any polite! I had been seeing her have done a lot of jobs like washing cups, empty bins ect,I supose she was not in good mood when she saw me. But there is no excuse she treat me like this!

Fabric can't be made in 1 hour, so the person who has patience and be polite can make good fabric, likes John.

There is fabulous sunshine outside. But I can't go to outside to enjoy it because I havn't finished my study plan. I miss my church so much and i miss my friends so much, I always meet them and chat with them in the Sunday's service.

I am jealous of the people who can enjoy their drinks under sunshine thinking about nothing and wathing people come and go .

I have to do research for my Munic Europe exhibition, and book my ticket( try free)and hotel, I have to think about plane time and the most important thing is how to go to Germany embassy to get my visa,this is not fair for me and I hate that.

I also have to deaign my fabric pattern today and give it to John tomorrow. I want to make fabrics for tomorrow( very excited about this, I never think I can make fabric by myself, I really pleased that I can learn more).

And I have a new idea for my designing, I want to do more research for this, I need to stetch these ideas and show Claudia tomorrow, hopefully she can give me some advice.

Too many things to do but I am very positive, I think I have much more self-confince than before and I really enjoy doing this!!

"England's" Sunday is such beautiful including my study works!!!! I love my study so much!!! So I love this Sunday so much!!!!

I have been Nottingham Watersports centre this summer hoilday with my freind! It is a great place. I saw some people doing water sports in there.

teacher in China!

Continue last night's topic. There is a word in China by Confucius" if somebody was your teacher one day, he would be your father all your life."

When I was a little girl, in my home I was always educated:" and told to respect your teacher",I was not a vegetable child when I was 8 years old, my parents complained:" if you couldn't eat your vegetables any more, we would let your teacher know this", I was very afraid about this, so I forced myself to eat vegetables. So a big thanks to my teacher is --vegetable! We would rather let our parents down but we can't let a teacher be a little bit unhappy! Teacher has a great job, if we were plants, our teacher would be the gardener!

Fantasitic day!

John was late for about 2 hours for the afternon course. Actually he is not a teacher but he can slove our big problem because we had a lack of fabric for designing our project! He is really good, he has rich experice for the fabric and he has a sence of humor. He is very clever at communicating with us. Hopefully we can get the fabric that we want as soon as possible!

I was the first person that had tutorial with Claudia. Claudia gave me some advice about my design colours and ideas. I really appreciate it! because I don't know, I should bring the whole work that I have done in the summer hoilday to show Claudia,so I am going to see her tomorrow again.

I had my presentation result from Charles, which is B. I am quiet happy about this. Actually I didn't know the presentation would be marked!!!!! Charles is the teacher. Here are his good points: 1) He really cares about us 2) He has enough energy caring about us 3) He has enough knowledge& sourse caring about us. 4) He is always postive.

There is big difference between Chinese & British, it is 2 late, I will continue this topic next time!

The party was organized by my good friend Shaine. We went to Nottingham Guggle somthing( sorry forgot the name). We enjoyed some drinks and dance. I wil write more!!

I thought I just can publish my design things or my design ideas. how silly I am!!! I waste a lot of chance to let other's know my wanderful life!Anyway I will try my best update my blogger everyday!

Today is our first day go back to University! See Charles& Claudia again! The biggest surprise is Claudia has had a baby!! I am really happy for her and I told Claudia that having a baby is the best thing, and I would like to do that one day!
